Welcome! As you look through these photo galleries you will see many divergent subjects. This isn’t due to a lack of focus. Rather than specialize in a particular genre, I shoot whatever I find interesting or appealing. You will see images taken in my hometown of Rochester, NY, and across the USA, Europe and Asia.

The Galleries – Overview

Land & Water

I probably shoot more landscape photos than any other genre. I suppose this is because I’ve always enjoyed wandering around outdoors, in all types of weather. These photos were taken in many parts of the world, and many were shot close to home in New York State. You might notice plenty of the landscapes include water. I find it often enhances the image and imparts a calming influence

Expect to see photos shot all over the world in this gallery. My “day job” over the past 30 years has involved frequent international travel. Long ago I discovered that a great way to get to know a city and its people was to get out and take photos. You’ll see elements of architecture, culture as well as natural beauty in these images. Look for cities in Italy, Germany, Sweden, France, England, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and of course the USA.

Since I was a kid I’ve really liked cars. I read car magazines long before I was old enough to drive. In the Vehicles gallery you will see all sorts of conveyances. Most are of cars or car detail shots. There are also photos of airplanes, boats, trains and even construction equipment.

A really good wildlife photographer has infinite patience. That’s not me. Still, somtimes opportunity presents itself and I am able to capture some great images. I’ve taken some in my own back yard, through which animals pass fairly regularly.

This gallery is a collection of photos which I truly like but that don’t seem to fit neatly into one of the other classifications. Several are closeup, detail shots. Others involve people doing something different or interesting. I hope you like them too.
